4. Stop drinking Coke and sodas. Stick to drinking water. You should drink eight to nine glasses of water every day. This will replace the water that you lose naturally every day and make sure that your body doesn’t have to retain water. Do this and you will naturally lose weight.

5. Stop eating bread. This contains large amounts of salt and should be avoided.

6. Avoid all calorie-dense, sugary snacks. Eat an apple instead.

7. Eat a good breakfast before you start the day, but make sure you avoid all sugary cereals.

8. Eat lots vegetables particularly the ones that are high in fiber. Beans, particularly black beans, should be included in your diet.

9. Get 7 1/2 to eight hours sleep every night.

10. Watch your portions. Be careful not to put too much on your plate. The best way of avoiding this is to buy a smaller plate and serve yourself smaller portions. Say no to second helpings.
